Ufficializzati titolo e data di uscita del nuovo album di The National, il settimo in studio: 'Sleep Well Beast' sarà nei negozi l'8 Settembre prossimo, per i tipi di 4AD. La band ha contestualmente pubblicato sul proprio canale Youtube il video del primo singolo The system only dreams in total darkness e annunciato un tour mondiale che al momento non prevede date nel nostro Paese.
L'album è stato registrato tra New York, Los Angeles, Parigi e Berlino e vede alla produzione Matt Berninger, Bryce e Aaron Dessner. Ecco la tracklist:
